A snapshot of my life

The rare glimpse of me in front of the camera :-) Hi, I'm Dan, single dad to a beautiful teenage daughter, with two amazing older children making their way through college. I've been taking pictures for as long as I can remember, but professionally, over 10 years. My first formal training came from my Uncle, who was a brilliant craftsman, and Master Photographer. He taught me the ins and outs of not just snapping the shot, but how, and why. Editing, and posing. Lighting and flash. Now, after receiving multiple awards, magazine covers, and gallery exhibits, I have achieved the status of Master Photographer myself.

Working along with many people in my off time, I continually practice posing, editing techniques, and experiment with light, and shadows. I have also been blessed to teach and assist many other photographers. There is no competition in my world. If I can pass along something that will help someone create beautiful images, it's a win as we all get to see more beautiful pictures.
